EXCURSION TRETIAKOV GALLERY
GALLERYA TRETJAKOV: Today it is a museum which houses the largest collection of Russian fine arts. Mr. Tretyakov a well-known merchant in the mid-800 began to buy a series of paintings from various Russian artists, with the intention of creating a collection of paintings (art gallery). His goal was to create a National Museum of Russian works, and in 1982 he succeeded in his intent in fact he gave the now famous collection to the State. Today it is an important art gallery.
